Bethesda Softworks has announced that Fallout: New Vegas is to receive three new pieces of downloadable content in the coming months, all to be released simultaneously across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Honest Hearts, the first piece of new content, will be released on May 17. It takes players on expedition to Utah’s Zion National Park, where your caravan is suddenly ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try and find your way back to the Mojave, “you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man.” Your decisions will have a direct impact on the fate of the Zion park.
Old World Blues, set for June, unwillingly forces players to become lab rats in a science experiment promising to teach you the origins of the Mojave’s mutated monsters. Players will “scour the Pre-War research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat.”
Lonesome Road, due out July, brings players into contact with the original Courier Six — a man named Ulysses, who had refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the beginning of Fallout: New Vegas. Ulysses promises to tell you why, however, requires you to do one final job — “a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms.” Though, be warned, as it is said that those who take to the Divide never return.
Each piece of content will go for $9.99 / 800 Microsoft Points.
