El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron looked a bit different four years ago. The action title, out now in Japan and this summer in the west, was originally an internal tech demo for the Tokyo team at Ignition Entertainment.
It didn’t have the same title, either. Rather than El Shaddai, it was called Angelic: Ascension of the Metatron. Good thing they changed it.
