Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, Project Aces’ latest entry in the fighter warfare franchise, will launch on October 11 in North America and October 14 in Europe, Namco Bandai has announced.
Assault Horizon promises to “invigorate” the franchise with “intense action,” “in-air acrobatics, counter-maneuvers and new destructive effects that show buildings shattering and aircraft getting shredded to pieces.” It features a new story, penned by bestselling military author Jim DeFelice, spanning real-world locations, making for new types of aircraft.
“Ace Combat is a beloved franchise and we’re excited to take the series into a whole new direction with more visceral and fast-paced action,” said Kazutoki Kono, Producer and Executive Director at Namco Bandai Games. “Players around the world will find an adventure that will keep them glued to the edge of their seat. They’ll feel their adrenaline pumping with every bullet, every explosion and every near-miss escape.”
