Finishing off Capcom‘s trio of game announcements today, the publisher’s officially confirmed the release of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition on consoles. The “definitive” version of Super Street Fighter IV, Arcade Edition adds new characters, a new balancing update and an enhanced Replay Channel.
It’ll be available to purchase as an entirely new game at retail for $39.99 or as a downloadable add-on for your current edition of Super Street Fighter IV for $14.99/1200 Microsoft Points.
It’s out on June 7 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, followed by a PC version in July. Check out a new set of screenshots at the gallery. The debut trailer and two gameplay videos featuring the new characters can be seen below.
