PS3 nets exclusive L.A. Noire case

The PlayStation 3 version of L.A. Noire will include an exclusive case not available in its Xbox 360 counterpart. Recent retailer box art changes and a new TV spot have confirmed the content, which Rockstar titles “Consul’s Car Traffic Case”.

Not much else is known about the case. It shows up at the end of the new Sony-branded TV spot, boasting its exclusivity.

This shouldn’t be too surprising. The PlayStation 3 version of Red Dead Redemption also had content exclusive to the console. Many third-party games are taking the same route; take Maffa II, for example. Back in February, Sony told us they’ve been working very closely with third-parties to “lock up exclusive parts of games.”
