Nintendo confirms new system for 2012

A new document discovered in the folders of Nintendo Japan’s website has confirmed that Nintendo will announce a new console at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, this June. Recent rumors have labeled the console Project Cafe.

The document has been discovered at the following URL: nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2011/110425_4e.pdf. Its message is short, but confirms the console for a 2012 launch. We’ve replicated it in image form below.

Furthermore, on Nintendo’s Software Development Support website, an image for Project Cafe was found. It’s since been removed, but not before the internet could grab hold of it. See it here.
