Moogle has meaning in Final Fantasy Type-0
In last week’s Final Fantasy Type-0 update, we learned that Moogles will provide players with missions throughout the game. In this week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation, we discover a deeper meaning behind the Final Fantasy mascot. In Type-0, Moogle stands for Military Operation Organization Guidance Logistics Expert.
Square Enix and their crazy acronyms.
The issue also introduces some new characters, one of which is a moogle voiced by the 12 year-old Sumire Morohoshi. Another character, Izana, is a Chocobo rider voiced by Keiji Fujiwara. He’s the hooded character who looked like he was dying in the January trailer.
Cid’s one-eyed subordinate has been named. Voiced by Hideo Ishikawa, he’s called Katorubashtal. A character who may be the school principal, voiced by Iemasa, has also been labelled. They call him Kariyashival the 6th. Note that these two names are not official Romanizations.
Expect more details soon.
Thanks, Andriasang.
