Keiji Inafune in Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2

Former Capcom developer and Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune will appear in Compile Hearts’ upcoming sequel Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2. According to this week’s Dengeki PlayStation, the Comcept CEO can be found in-game as an enemy, complete with his own set of attacks. Odd, isn’t it?

Inafune’s attacks include: Donnahandanda Nova, where the camera zooms in on Inafune’s scanned-in face and a beam is shot out of his mouth, and Creator Sword Inafune, where he wields a sword shaped like Inafune folding his arms, also done through scanned-in photos.

Dengeki’s also revealed the release date for Neptunia mk2 as August 18, 2011 in Japan. If anything, we’ll probably get an early 2012 release in North America.
