Hideo Kojima’s most wanted game is L.A. Noire

Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear Solid and head of Kojima Productions, has high hopes for Rockstar’s L.A. Noire. It’s his most anticipated game of the year.

“It seems that the Japanese release for L.A. Noire has been set for July 7, tanabata” wrote Kojima on Twitter. “This is the game that I’m most looking forward to this year. The English version will be released in advance in May. I want to play it soon, but it’s a game where you do detective work, so perhaps it would be best if I play it in Japanese. This game will probably change the future of adventure games. Super excited!”

As are we, Kojima-san.

L.A. Noire launches for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on May 17, following a Japanese release on on July 7.
