Mass Effect 2‘s final piece of downloadable content, “Arrival,” goes live on March 29. On a quest to save a doctor (who uncovered a Reaper artifact) kidnapped by batarians, Shepard won’t have his/her team to rely on this time around.
BioWare producer Jesse Houston describes the content as a “side-quest, ultimately,” but “also kind of an epilogue”. Players can choose to undertake the mission anytime as long as they’ve completed the Horizon mission.
As a solo mission, players must make use of cover and be on their best defense. The level design for Arrival features more instances of stealth than found in the main game. According to Joystiq, there are at least two fights in the content that can be skipped by sneaking around the environment.
