EA‘s sent out brand new video and screenshots of Battlefield 3 at GDC. Lightning, strike me now if this isn’t one of the best looking first-person shooters I’ve ever seen.
The first in a series of videos titled ‘Fault Line’, today’s clip chronicles the US Marines’ journey through a ‘bad part of town’ in 2014, attempting to restore stability to the region surrounding the Iraqi/Iranian border. The entire video is in-game footage.
Take notice of how your ally is shot at 1:45, how you rush to save him a moment later, and how you react when the car explodes at 2:26. I also quite liked the feel of the dog behind the fence at 1:07.
