At PAX East, last weekend, we received a full gameplay tour of the upcoming Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. For those of you who’ve played Earth Defense Force 2017, which was a launch title for Xbox 360, you’ll know that underneath the ‘bad’ game is a ton of mindless fun. With Insect Armageddon, it looks like D3 Publisher‘s trying to accomplish that same attribute.
D3 Publisher Publicity Manager Michael Cerven gave us the walkthrough, which shows off just a few of the game’s arsenal of over 300 weapons, including the Richvall-Shystem B-OMG! and the Vepudu Anti-Tank Turret. They’re very oddly named.
It’s “like a Michael Bay movie on steroids,” according to Cerven. Check out the entire 22-minute presentation below.
