Beta test the next Xbox 360 Dashboard Update

An Xbox 360 System Update Preview program is in preparation for the system’s next update, Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson has announced. Microsoft is currently looking for Xbox LIVE users to help “prepare for an updated Xbox 360 disc format” in what they describe as an “important update”.

In order to apply, you must visit Microsoft Connect and complete the registration survey. You’ll need your Windows LIVE sign-in, console serial number, and console ID on-hand upon going in.

Getting in isn’t to hard, says Nelson, as they’re looking for “multiple thousands of participants”. For those out in the UK, “this opportunity is open to Xbox LIVE Members in the US region only.”
