Yakuza: Of the End’s special weapons

Yakuza: Of the End has a wide array of bigger, badder weapons separate from the guns you’ll so often find yourself using. These special weapons range from tanks to fire extinguishers. Tonight, Sega‘s let out details on each one.

• Tank – left behind by the Self Defense Force, this tank is no longer mobile. However, you can hop in and use the cannon to take out hordes of zombies at once.
• Armored Vehicle – a high-defense vehicles with a gun on the roof. The gun has great speed and power, but you stay on alert for a possible overheating.
• Bulldozer – exactly what it sounds like.
• Forklift – also exactly what it sounds like.
• Pitching Machine – up for a little baseball? The pitching machine from the Yoshida Batting Center can be utilized to take out zombies. You can make it fire straight, sinker, fork, and curve balls by hitting different selections with the d-pad. You can also shoot grenades out of its cannon.
• Mortar – has three different bullet types. It’s difficult to aim, but does massive damage if the hit is successful.
• Railgun – lasers!
• Flamethrower – a heavy carry, but doses enemies in a healthy serving of fire.
• Chainsaw – ’nuff said.
• Fire Extinguisher – a weak weapon that can send zombies flying back. Good for when you’re cornered.
