Twisted Pixel announces western shooter for Kinect

Twisted Pixel, developers of The Maw and ‘Splosion Man, has announced their next Xbox 360 title. This time, it’s Kinect-exclusive.

Gunstringer, as it’s called, is a cross between a shooter and a platformer starring a skeleton cowboy puppeteered by players. The debut trailer, embedded below, shows a lot of on-rails shooting sequences.

The story of Gunstringer is classic western and inspired by A Fistful of Dollars. Somebody’s done ol’ Gunstringer wrong, and he’s out to make ’em pay!

No release date, quite yet. Twisted Pixel wouldn’t say whether or not the game will release on Xbox LIVE Arcade, like their previous Xbox 360-exclusives, or at retail.
