SOCOM 4 ‘Full Deployment Edition’ and ‘Covert Missions’ announced

Sony’s announced a special limited edition version of SOCOM 4 called the ‘Full Deployment Edition’. Releasing alongside the standard edition, it’ll include everything you need to experience the game will full PlayStation Move compatibility.

Priced at $149.99, it’ll include:

• SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs video game on Blu-ray disc
• PlayStation Move Motion Controller
• PlayStation Move Navigation Controller
• PlayStation Move sharp shooter
• PlayStation Eye Camera

Everything in the package can be bought together separately for $220 — so if you really want to play the game with Move enabled, then we suggest you picked up the ‘Full Deployment Edition’.

Also announced are ‘Covert Missions’ for the game’s single-player campaign. These are select missions in the campaign that put players in the shoes of female South Korean 707th covert operations expert “45.” A stealth character, “45” “slinks into various locales under the cover of night to capture valuable intel and sabotage enemy operations.” Zipper describes her as a “sneaky badass”.
