2K‘s announced a ‘Balls of Steel’ special edition of Duke Nukem Forever, this morning. Shipping alongside the standard edition on May 3, it’ll include an assortment of extra goodies and be available in limited quantities.
How limited, you ask? “Very limited,” according to Gearbox. There will be “more than 2000 copies” produced, however.
It’ll go for $99.99 when it launches, and will only be available for purchase at GameStop and Amazon (in the US, at least). Here’s what it’ll include:
- Collectible bust of the greatest alien ass-kicker of all-time
- Numbered, limited-edition certificate of authenticity
- 100-page hardcover book: The History, Legacy & Legend: Duke Nukem Forever Art from the Vault

Not only is Duke Nukem Forever actually coming out after 13 years, but an insanely packed collector’s edition, as well? The hardcore Duke fan might go mad.
