Kinect sales top 8 million

Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, has announced during Microsoft’s Consumer Electronics Show press conference that their Xbox 360 hands-free motion controller, Kinect, has sold over 8 million units worldwide.

Xbox 360 has sold over 50 million consoles worldwide, he also announced.
