Epic trademarks Gears of War: Exile

Microsoft has several Gears-related products in the pipeline, but a new trademark filed by developer Epic Games recently may have revealed a currently unannounced Gears project.

Gears of War: Exile is the mark. Epic even attached this nifty logo alongside the registration.

Could this be the delayed Gears of War announcement that was originally supposed to hit during the Video Game Awards last December? Sounds possible.
