Dead Space 2 is out today. And while you’re playing through the single-player campaign, EA and Visceral Games are preparing an expansion, due to release “soon” on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.
Dead Space 2: Severed extends the story of Dead Space 2 with two new chapters. Severed follows Dead Space: Extraction‘s Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock, this time off-rails, who act as Sprawl Security Guards. Players will step into the boots of Weller, as he fights to protect himself and Murdock from an onslaught of Necromorphs, and get to safety.
