DC Universe Online launches today

It’s been a long time coming, but Sony Online Entertainment’s PlayStation 3/PC MMO, DC Universe Online, is now available at retailers.

The game allows players to create their own super hero/villain and fight alongside the likes of DC Comics characters like Batman, Superman, The Joker, and Lex Luthor through an action-oriented fighting system with thousands of other players online.

Subscribers will have to pay a monthly fee of $14.99 after the first 30 days to continue playing.
