Crysis 2 multiplayer demo announced for Xbox 360
Xbox 360 owners will get their first dosage of Crysis 2 next week. Developer Crytek‘s announced an Xbox 360-exclusive multiplayer demo set to launch on Tuesday, January 25th.
The demo will allow 2 teams of 6 to slip on their Nanosuits and go neck-and-neck. The “Skyline” map will offer players two game modes to play: “Team Instant Action” and “Crash Site”. “Team Instant Action” is your basic team deathmatch, while “Crash Site” has players fighting for control of alien pods.
Crysis 2‘s full multiplayer component features 6 gameplay modes and 12 maps set across a destroyed New York City.
“Crysis 2 offers a fresh, new take on multiplayer — one that will stand out and establish the game as a top contender in the first person shooter genre,” said Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek. “The Nanosuit gives gamers a sense of power they have yet to experience in any other shooter and having New York City as a backdrop will present a different type of playground with even more possibilities.”
The demo goes live for Xbox LIVE Gold Members next week.
