Avatar Kinect announced for Xbox LIVE
A new service for Xbox LIVE Gold Members has been announced by Microsoft at CES in Las Vegas. Avatar Kinect, rumored earlier this week, gives Xbox LIVE users their own space that allows them to virtually hang out with friends.
Kinect’s part is played in facial recognition. It’ll apparently be able to recognize your facial gestures — such as what you do with your eyebrows and mouth, making the experience more personal.
Expect assets and such soon.
