36 new avatars to hit PlayStation Network today

PlayStation Network users no doubt know that when it comes to avatars, Sony doesn’t quite deliver on third-parties. The PlayStation Store is overwhelmed with first-party and Capcom avatars, which is about it when it comes to big names.

Today’s PlayStation Network update should change things. Thirty-six new avatars are on the way, including the likes of:

• Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood [10]
• Grand Theft Auto IV [10]
• Hoard [5]
• Red Dead Redemption [10]
• TRON: Evolution [1]

I’m calling dibs on the Ezio avatar. It’s only fair. I am Italian, after all.
