Quake Arena Arcade, more hit Xbox LIVE Marketplace

A few new releases hit the Xbox LIVE Marketplace today, ranging from classic first-person shooters to arcade fighters to board games and an investigative demo.

The first release, Quake Arena Arcade (pictured above), needs no introduction. You’ve been waiting for this one to hit the Marketplace for months and it’s finally here. For 1200 Microsoft Points, you’ll get a 15-player classic online multiplayer title with 33 classic maps and 12 Xbox-exclusive maps. Queue it up through here.

X-Men, another classic, this time in the form of a fighter, has also been made available. Players can play as X-Men like Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, and NightCrawler as they fight through various stages taking on villains like the Juggernaut, Nimrod, and The Blob. For 800 Microsoft Points, queue it up here.

An ancient board game has made its way onto the Marketplace, as well. The Path of Go will allow players and their Avatars to learn the basics of the ancient Chinese Go board game and take their skills online against other players. For 400 Microsoft Points, queue it up here. I’m actually going to give this one a ‘go,’ I’m a freak for the game.
