“Neil is a big gamer and a brilliant host,” said Casey Patterson, executive producer Spike TV’s “Video Game Awards.” “Video games are taking over the world and Neil is perfect to lead the ‘VGA’s’ in celebrating the best of the year and the future of gaming.”
A host of other celebrities will also attend the event, including Chris Hemsworth, Dane Cook, Olivia Munn, Denise Richards, Nick Swardson, Tony Hawk, Danny Devito, Kaitlin Olson, Rob McElhenney, and more.
The SpikeTV VGAs will play host to 13 world premieres, including Batman: Arkham City, Resistance 3, Thor: God of Thunder, BioWare‘s new game, Guillermo del Toro’s game with THQ, a Gears of War announcement, Saints Row 3, a new Activision game, and a new Sony game. So far, that’s nine we know of, unless I’m missing any.
Stay tuned. It all happens on SpikeTV on Saturday, December 11 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
