Xbox 360’s Fall Dashboard Update hits November 1
Xbox 360‘s Fall Update is all set for release across Xbox LIVE on November 1, an e-mail sent out by Microsoft has revealed. The update, which will ready the system for Kinect, will launch three days prior to the motion controller, which hits retail on November 4.
Other than Kinect-compatibility, the update boasts several new additions, including:
- Enhanced/slightly-redesigned dashboard interface for easier navigation.
- ESPN3 for Xbox LIVE.
- Zune Music and ZunePass functionality.
- Netflix – new interface and search functionality.
- Avatars 2.0 – new Avatar editor and Avatars with more human-like functions.
Of course, there are other small additions, but these are the major inclusions in the batch.
Be sure to have your Xbox 360 connected come November 1. As per usual, the update should take 5-10 minutes to download and install when it launches.
Thanks, Examiner.
