NIS announces Hyperdimension Neptunia for PS3

NIS has officially announced the localized version of Super Dimension Game Neptune, released in Japan this past July. The Compile Heart-developed RPG will hit both North America and Europe in Spring 2011 as Hyperdimension Neptunia.

The game follows to story of Neptune who’s goal is to save the captive Historie. On her journey throughout the world of Gamindustri (Game Industry), she’ll face corrupt monsters and many other threats. The game utilizes features Console Patron Units (CPUs) in battle, whom are basically game consoles in the form of goddesses. Additionally, players are able to edit pictures stored on their PlayStation 3s to use as Neptune’s rear emblem, summon video game characters or images from the HDD, and customize, create and name combos.
