Konami”s cooking up something Silent Hill 2-related, it seems. Guy Cihi, the voice actor of Silent Hill 2‘s James Sunderland, posted an update on Facebook recently saying that Konami’s contacted him “after years of no-contract” regarding the game.
“Konami contacted me after years of no-contact,” Cihi wrote. “We are discussing issues related to SH2′s continuing popularity. Why now? They either want to re-release SH2 game content, or Sony’s SH2 movie involves James Sunderland. I’ll keep you posted.”
Here’s an idea: maybe we’ll see James Sunderland make an appearance in Silent Hill 8? The team at Vatra has been repeatedly saying how much inspiration from the second game is being put into the eighth entry.
Thanks, Hell Descent.
