Halo: Reach tops 3 million units

Bungie‘s final Halo game is officially a success. This month’s NPD results have revealed the game’s sold over 3.3 million units since its launch on September 14. Additionally, the NPD’s revealed Microsoft’s sold 483,989 Xbox 360s during the month of September.

As for PlayStation 3 sales, there’s no word on exactly how much the it sold, although GAF is reporting that it’s somewhere between 283,000 and 482,000 units. PSP, on the other hand, did somewhere between 100,000 and 189,000 units.

Congrats to both Microsoft and Bungie on Reach‘s success.
