Activision‘s officially confirmed the inclusion of Zombies for Call of Duty: Black Ops today. Originally introduced in Call of Duty: World at War as Nazi Zombies, the living dead are making a return for developer Treyarch’s latest.
“Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops,” says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “We’ve taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans.”
In Black Ops, up to four players can do battle against the zombie apocalypse cooperatively online.
Also announced today, four updated co-op maps form Call of Duty: World at War will make their way to Black Ops via its Prestige and Hardened Editions. Get excited!
