Illfonic is currently hard at work on bringing Nexuiz, a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter for PC, to consoles and PC in a newer form using the power of the CryENGINE 3. The developer’s released some footage today revealing some early development footage shown at PAX Prime this year. While it looks splendid enough already, the video does not represent the final build of the game.
Check it out below. It’s out in early 2011. Digital download, we’re guessing. It certainly looks like it could be a Halo alternative, for those that aren’t fans of the franchise.
