Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath remake coming to PSN

Just Add Water‘s announced today that a remake for 2005’s Xbox-exclusive Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is currently in development for PlayStation 3. The last game in the franchise to be released on a PlayStation console was twelve years ago in 1998 with Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.
“Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is the first project in what we believe will be a long and fruitful relationship,” J.A.W. Managing Director Steward Gray said. “Having the chance to update this great title and release it on PS3 is just a brilliant opportunity, not least for us, but for the fans too.”
The update game will release in download-only format with 720p visuals, normal mapping, self-shadowing, re-mastered dialogue, PlayStation Move support and more yet to be revealed.
It’s out this Easter on PlayStation Network. See the first screenshot at the gallery.
