LittleBigPlanet 2 pushed to January 2011 [Update]

Media Molecule‘s confirmed this morning that LittleBigPlanet 2 has been pushed from its November release date. Now slated for January 2011, the developer states the reason for the delay as a necessity in order to give players the “best experience imaginable.”

Media Molecule did mention that they’re going to “find a way to give more of you a taste of LBP2 prior to launch.” We’re not sure exactly how yet. More beta invites, I’m assuming.

It’s not all bad. Two months is nothing at all, really. Plus, with all the high-profile games releasing before the year ends, I’m sure you’ll no doubt be happy to save some money.
