With its release scheduled for next week, Konami‘s released the official launch trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow tonight. The eleven minute-long clip gives players a full introduction to the upcoming game, including its story and characters, and provides players a look into its combat and exploration systems.
Those who haven’t played past Castlevania titles shouldn’t worry about story confusion; as this is a completely new story, first-time players of the franchise can jump right in.
If you’ve got the time, it’s really worth the watch. It looks simply stunning.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 4, 2010.
