Virtua Tennis 4 detailed; first screenshots
Sega’s sent out full detail and images on their upcoming entry in the Virtua Tennis series. Coming exclusively to PlayStation 3, Virtua Tennis 4 will debut in 2011 with full PlayStation Move and 3D capability. The game’s in development in Japan by Hitmaker, the series’ original developer.
According to Sega, the combination of both Move and 3D add an “unprecedented realism to the tennis experience”, which is exactly what their aiming for with this latest iteration.
“We have always strived to provide a tennis experience that is both true to the sport and great fun to play, and we are continuing to work with Sony to make this happen”, commented Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA Europe and SEGA America. “With Virtua Tennis 4 being developed for PlayStation Move and featuring 3D technology, the boundaries of realism in sports video games are being pushed even further”.
Virtua Tenins 4 has a “host of additional features” that we don’t yet know about. Sega promises those and the full line-up will be revealed in the “coming months”.
