Activision‘s announced that True Crime: Hong Kong, they anticipated reboot to the franchise in development at ModNation Racers studios United Front, has been delayed from its 2010 target release date. The game will now ship sometime in 2011.
The company’s second-quarter earnings report says it all: “Activision Publishing has moved the anticipated release date for its upcoming open-world action title, True Crime: Hong Kong, from 2010 to 2011 in order to give the development team more time to deliver the high-quality entertainment experience they envision for the game.”
It’s always best to get a top-notch game rather than one full of bugs. Less money to spend this Christmas, too.
Thanks, Cinema Blend.
