Last week, we reported that Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo Del Toro was working on multiple projects with a “big company”. Today, the Los Angeles Times has outed that company as THQ, publisher of Red Faction, Saints Row, and Tomonobo Itagaki’s upcoming Devil’s Third.
The LA Times’ source for this information are “people familiar with the matter”.
Guillermo del Toro said previously that the deal should close within the “next few weeks”. Perhaps then THQ will make some announcements on the projects. Unfortunately, at the moment, THQ has refused to confirm anything related to the potential del Toro deal.
We’ll keep you updated.
