Microsoft tease largest TGS showing ever
During an event celebrating Famitsu Xbox 360‘s 100th issue anniversary, several developers were on hand to speak about the Microsoft console during the Xbox 360 “High Spec Machine; Low Spec Man” column. While there weren’t really any major revelations, Cave head of development Makato Asada revealed details about an upcoming adventure game.
It’s a detective adventure game similar to those released in the 80s and 90s. It’ll star a 40-year-old male, but Asada mentions that due to “adult circumstances”, it may end up being a female instead. Asada said to expect an announcement of some sort at Cave’s Akihabara games festival, which happens on August 14. Based off translation, it’s unclear whether or not the announcement is related to the adventure game or a whole new game.
Closing off the column, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 marketing chief Jouji Sakaguchi stepped on stage to promise the largest Tokyo Game Show showing ever this year for the company. Kinect will be their main focus at the show, but they’ll also have one-hundred playable kiosks separate from the Kinect titles.
