Disaster Report 4 announced for PlayStation 3
Disaster Report, known as Zettai Zetsumei Toshi in Japan and as SOS: The Final Escape in Europe, is going high-definition for its fourth game. The latest issue of Famitsu has announced that Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is in development at Irem Software for PlayStation 3.
Disaster Report 4 places players in a July 201X metropolis struck by a devastating earthquake. The protagonist, a person visiting the town for an job interview, is stuck dead in the center of this disaster. The protagonist is customizable to the player’s will, allowing the player to choose their gender, facial style, hair style and more. Throughout the game, players will find over one-hundred items they could use to further customize their character.
During the game, players will meet and receive aid from over sixty characters, which is the largest amount of characters in Disaster Report history. Players will enter collapsed buildings, find new routes and survivors, find items, and more in an attempt to escape the fallen city. Players will have to keep clean in doing so with the game’s new “cleanliness” feature, forcing stress onto players if they get too dirty. To clean yourself up, you’ll need to use the toilet. Seriously.
Irem’s also confirmed the game will have both PlayStation Move and 3D support.
It’s out in Japan this winter. Check the scans below.
