Stuart Black, creative director of Bodycount, is leaving the team at Codemasters in October. His upcoming first-person shooter will most likely not be completed by then, but Codemasters assures they have a very talented team to see it out.
“Having created a great vision and direction for Bodycount, Stuart has decided to move on after three years with us,” a Codemasters representative told Gamer Zines.
“He will see out his design role until October and, through the transition period, will continue to work with the talented development team that will take the game through to completion.”
Black is also known for his work as co-creator and designer on Criterion’s critically-acclaimed shooter, Black.
It is unknown where Black will head next. We’ll have to wait and see where the wind blows him.
Bodycount is due out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2011.
