Peter Molyneux brings Milo to TEDglobal
Lionhead Studios’ Milo – first shown at E3 last year – has been in hush mode for a while now, but Peter Molyneux has made a surprising move in bringing it to today’s TEDglobal conference in Oxford.
Molyneux gave a complete presentation on the game, beginning it by saying that “this talk is going to be a little bit insane.” Molyneux even promised to trick the crowd into believing that Milo is in-fact, a real boy.
He had his assistant Dimitri demo the game with Kinect. He and Milo went stone-skipping and even squashed a snail. Later, Dimitri helped Milo tidy up his room and cheered the boy up after he was feeling down.
Molyneux is proud of what he’s accomplished with Milo, saying that he loves these revolutions and “the future that Milo brings”.
