Dead Rising 2: CASE ZERO dated for August 31

Capcom has announced the official release date for Dead Rising 2: CASE ZERO today, their Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive that details the events that happen before Dead Rising 2. The downloadable will be out on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on August 31.

CASE ZERO takes place two years after the events of Dead Rising and three years before those of Dead Rising 2. You’ll be introduced to protagonist Chuck Greene who, with his infected daughter, are trapped in a zombie-infested town known as Still Creek. As Greene, players must find their way out of the town, as well as a pack of Zombrex in order to save his daughter from becoming a walking zombie.

No word on price yet, but I’m guessing it’ll go for around $15 or so.
