Sony starting up ‘Classics HD’ brand?
A list of box arts for a bunch of PlayStation Move-compatible titles have been leaked recently by way of United Kingdom retailer Play.com. They all bear the same Move-compatible or Move-required logo we’ve seen on the Killzone 3 box art. That’s hardly what’s interesting, though.
On the box art for Sly Collection, which brings together the first three Sly Cooper titles in glorious high-definition, the top of the box is wearing a ‘Classics HD’ branding. Is this signifying the arrival of future arrival of other ‘Classics HD’ titles?
It’s been heavily rumored for a while now that a Team Ico Collection is set to be revealed by Sony. Some rumors suggest it’ll launch in Q1 2011.
It’s smart for Sony to start putting these sorts of collections into production. Bringing old-school favorites back in high-definition and with trophy support is a win-win for consumers. Now, get working on my Kingdom Hearts Collection.
