Silver Star launches teaser site for new PS3 game

Silver Star, Japanese developer of many board game to video game adaptions, is developing an all new PlayStation 3 title. They’ve launched a teaser site for the game this morning.

While we’re no experts in Japanese, our translators are running this through as “Go Hybrid Monte Carlo Silver Star World Champion”.

The company has created several Go games before. Go is an ancient board game that originated in 548 BC and is still played today, even professionally. There’s a whole manga about it, too (Hikaru No Go). I’m pretty good at it myself.

Still – if it’s a Go game, then what’s with the Iron Man-looking robot? I guess we’ll find out when the site launches, won’t we?
