ModNation Racers Demo Hits Next Tuesday

Update: Sony has confirmed the demo will arrive on Tuesday with a PlayStation.Blog post. The demo will allow for single-player, offline split-screen multiplayer, and the ability to make your own mod, kart, and full track. After creating the tracks, you can save them and then share them in the game when you pick up the full retail copy.

Original: With the May 25 release date for ModNation Racers, you’d probably expect a demo to be released on the PlayStation Store beforehand, right? Well, you’re correct.

In a comment reply on the PlayStation.Blog, SCEA Associate Product Marketing Manager Chuck Lacson said that we should “warm up with the [ModNation Racers] PSP Demo today! The PS3 Demo is coming.” When someone requested the demo arrive by next Tuesday, May 18, Lacson replied: “Request received. :)”

Looks like we can expect it to hit next week then. I wonder how limited it will be.
