LittleBigPlanet 2 introduces web level queuing
One of LittleBigPlanet‘s biggest gripes was the fact that you could create a fantastic level, but have no means of advertising. With LittleBigPlanet 2, Media Molecule aims to correct that flaw, as well as introduce a way to check out these levels while not at your PlayStation 3.
In the latest episode of Qore, Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans has revealed that for each level created in LittleBigPlanet 2, a link to a web page showing off details and screenshots of that level will be made available to the creator. The creator can share this link throughout social networks and forums on the web thus driving traffic to his level.
On top of that, gamers can browse these levels on the website, sign in with their PlayStation Network account, select the levels they find interesting, and set them up to be ready to play on their PlayStation 3 when they boot it up.
We’ll see more on LittleBigPlanet 2 at E3 – specifically regarding multiplayer, if Qore is to be believed. Stay tuned.
