EA is bringing the MySims series a step further today, announcing a new title in the franchise for the first time on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Titled MySims SkyHeroes, the cutesy-Sims latest installment is a flying action–adventure title due this fall where must stop the evil Morcubus’ plans to take over the skyways with his drone army. The game features a full single-player campaign, local split-screen, and both online competitive and cooperative multiplayer with up to ten friends.
“MySims games have truly become favorites among kids, families and gamers alike, so we have challenged ourselves to take development to the next level and deliver a new style of adventure for fans with game features and MySims-style fun that can be enjoyed equally by all,” said Scott Evans, General Manager of the The Sims Studio. “We are thrilled to have many firsts with MySims SkyHeroes, like introducing epic boss battles, cooperative gameplay missions and online multiplayer, all available for the very first time in any MySims game.”
As of today, the MySims franchise has currently sold over eight million units. Looks out for this latest installment on PS3, 360, Wii, and DS this fall.
