After a long period of silence, Activision Blizzard has released a new trailer for their upcoming PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC first-person shooter Singularity this evening, as well as pinpoint an exact release date.
Singularity – which takes place between the 1950s and present day – puts the Time Manipulation Device (or TMD for short) in players’ hands, allowing for the aging of objects, people and the environment all at the player’s will. A storyline based on a top-secret Soviet military experiment and mysterious conspiracy, as well as a compelling multiplayer aspect, are expected to drive the game. Using the TMD, players are expected to solve this conspiracy.
Singularity launches on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on June 29, 2010. Check out the new “Last Resort” trailer below.
