Ninja Theory isn’t “afraid” of PS3 anymore
Ninja Theory, developer of Namco Bandai’s upcoming Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, has said that they’ve learned a lot more on developing PlayStation 3 games, and that they’re no longer “afraid” of the console.
Their earlier title, Sony’s Heavenly Sword, was their first PlayStation 3 game, as well as their learning base. With Enslaved, they already know what’s going on with the system, and have much better understanding of it.
“When we went into this project instead of starting from scratch with absolutely nothing we had a much clearer idea of what we wanted to do and how we could do it,” Ninja Theory’s Tameem Antoniades told NowGamer..
“The PS3 didn’t scare us anymore because we were so used to it, so it’s been a lot smoother.
“I think a lot of the games that were announced back then were tainted by that negativity about the price of the console and the things people were saying about it.”
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West releases on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall.
